How The Heck Do I Fill Out A Class III Personal Use Permit?

Sometimes it is easier not to do things.

Like filing for your Class III Personal Use Permit.

The forms look overwhelming.

But they are not. We promise!

It is basic information. Telling FWC what animals and where your animals are.
This is a free permit and we should all have one. Even as we consider the exotic pet purchase.

Why do they need to know this information?

I think it really comes down to so many things such as the issue of finding the owner of a pet that has gotten out in the neighborhood. If there is a disease out break and they know you have a certain species of animal.

Of course, checking on animal safety while doing cage inspections on occasion is a great thing. It could be a faulty cage with a red ear slider escaping to the lake and further the environmental issues. How about orangutans or equivalent and human safety issues.

This video is number one in a series that will help all of us understand line by line the application process for our Class II Permits.

Crazy Critters Inc. is a Private Non-Profit, 501(c)3, Exotic Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. Our Wildlife Facility is located in Eustis, Florida. We provide permanent homes to over 200 animals including lizards, turtles, skinks, geckos, birds, and assorted wildlife. Crazy Critters Inc. was established to provide non-domestic, non-releasable animals with a safe and permanent home.
Mostly Tortoises and Turtles call Crazy Critters Inc. home. What makes us unique is that after adoption, Crazy Critters Inc. continues to share the lives of the pets on social media. Providing an additional continued connection. When an animal finds its way to Crazy Critters, it has found a forever home.
Everyone in our community benefits when donors put their funds together to help protect animals and our environment. And the fact that the animals can call this a forever home makes it that much better. Your monetary donations help provide veterinary care, food, and supplies to the animals in our care.
In keeping with our commitment to a quality life for the animals here at the sanctuary, we provide a diet created specifically for each animal’s needs, the best veterinary care, enrichment programs for the animals, and maintain their spacious, safe habitats.

What should tortoise poo look like?

Do you wonder what tortoise poop should look like?

According to Reptile Magazine....

The normal feces of a tortoise consists of fecal material. This usually appears as an odiferous formed mass consisting of the end products of digestion. The color, consistency, and volume of the feces will vary depending on what the tortoise is ingesting. But for the most part, the feces will be brown or greenish-brown.

Stage 1: of this massive project was the greenhouse build. This was the skeleton. We have built a greenhouse that is 2300 square foot.

Stage Two: The ponds. These will be the base of the environment. Helping us work to create the atmosphere we are looking for.

With the cost of the building structure behind us, we realize we are not finished until we order the ponds.

A biodome is very similar to a conventional greenhouse. After all, both environments are controlled and allow all different types of plants to thrive. However, a greenhouse is very different to a biodome in a number of ways. A greenhouse may or may not be biologically isolated from the outside world, which means that there’s an ongoing exchange of elements such as fertilizer, water, oxygen with the outside world. A biodome is a complete opposite. Everything is self-supported and once closed up and sealed from the outside world, the entire life cycle process continues on its own. A greenhouse is generally used for raising plants (with the exception of having an aquaponics system inside) whereas a biodome can be used for raising all different kinds of animals. You’ll find that because biodomes are used for raising plants alongside animals, they generally tend to be bigger in size in comparison with greenhouses.

These tubs all different sizes with land to water ratio, some are 30/70 or 40/60 all different percentages of earth and water.

Each tub is $350 bucks. We are ordering 10. Thanks to a recent wonderful connection to a man who helps organize the Repticon Expos. (Until last week, it had been our impression we would have a very high mail bill with the cost.)

The best part of these tubs is how they are plumbed. Ensuring a very clean environment. And that natural fertilizer which is in its best organic format drain time will flow out to a vegetable garden that feeds the turtles in return. Self-sustaining. After the tub expense of course.

Not only is it the latest Technology In Reptile Habitat! BUT!
• 100% Recycled Materials
• High-density Polyethylene
• UV stabilizers built into tub
• Withstands instant temp change
• Easy grip access ramp
• Less animal stress
• Lightweight
• Chemical Resistant
• Easy Cleanup
• Built-in water lagoon
• Dual-sided access ramp

Crazy Critters supporters are the greatest! Every step of the way, you have shown deep support and love. Your donation is just one more way that you give life to the WaterLand Tub Project.
