Giving Tuesday was started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to commercialization and consumerism on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The date range is November 27 to December 3 and is always five days after the holiday.
Last year, we raised $1,000 to purchase heated mats needed for exotic animals. We purchased them and also built an entire barn so we could keep multiple animals safe and warm during bad weather. Click here to see this project.
This year Crazy Critters kicks off their brand new GoFundMe Charity page. All funds will be matched by Ken and Cherrice Purvee during #GivingTuesday, for use to build more stalls in the critter barn.
